Application Process
Please read the guidance notes prior to completing the application form. You can then:
Complete the application form on screen by clicking into each box in turn and typing in your details (remember to save your document). Return the form by email to vicky.porter@ppf.gsi.gov.uk, or:
- Print off the application form, complete it and post it to our HR team at Knollys House, 17 Addiscombe Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 6SR
- To request a hard copy of the application pack, please contact the HR team on 020 8633 4960, or email vicky.porter@ppf.gsi.gov.uk
- If the post specifies a CV, your CV must include exact dates of employment and names of two referees. The CV must be acompanied by a covering letter indicating how you meet the requirements of the person specification. Please also complete the equal opportunities form and send your correspondence by email or post as above
- If you do not hear from us within two weeks after the closing date, your application has been unsuccessful.

Eligibility to work in the UK
- Changes to the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, which came into force on 1st May 2004, mean that we are required to make basic document checks on every potential employee to ensure they are eligible to work in the UK
- Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications from candidates who cannot prove their eligibility to work in the UK
- If you are shortlisted for interview, you will need to bring with you a passport or national identity card, as proof of your eligibility to work in the UK
- We will ask to see proof of your highest qualification certificate
- We will take a copy of the relevant documentation at the interview, and if we subsequently employ you, this will remain on your file If we do not employ you, it will be destroyed after 12 months.
Offer of Employment
All offers of employment will be subject to a basic security check. This includes the following:
- Identity check
- Nationality check
- Two satisfactory references
- Criminal record declaration
- Satisfactory health declaration
